SPECIALTY CHEMICALS TECH

 

Fine chemicals, specialty chemicals for industry, additives, adhesives, sealants, paints & varnishes, chemicals for personal care are basic part of the chemical sector.​​​ They are liquid, viscous, thixotropic, pasty or sticky, hygroscopic, powdery, granular, flake-like, with high melting point, low melting point, reactive with air humidity, toxic, flammable. They are produced in Special Plants that allow the transformation of basic chemical species into more complex, with specific required properties (REACTORS). They are processed in Special Machines (MIXERS) where the chemical-physical homogenization of different solid, liquid and pasty components occurs, both in low viscosity and in very high viscosity, at low or high temperature, at atmospheric pressure, at high pressure or under vacuum. They are then extruded, or flaked, or made into pellets, or pulverized or simply packaged in various type of packaging by Special  Filling & Packaging Machines (PACKAGING). In order to obtain the highest levels of quality, repeatability and safety required, the modern Special Installations are always equipped with the most advanced control, automation (Distributed Control Systems DCS) and safety (Safety Integrity Systems SIS, Emergency Shutdown System ESD) systems, also equipped with remote supervision with supervision systems (MIS). The Special Installations are eventually completed with adequate Special Packages for the treatment of gaseous emissions and contaminated water, which means Special Systems that allow the production units to operate within the limits required by the  laws in respect of  health and the environment.​​
